Installed them in a finished garage with drywall. Hung a couple of 2X4’s on the ceiling then mounted the rack to the 2X4’s. Went to Home Depot bought a 4X8 piece of 3/4 inch siding and had them cut it into 4 equal 2 foot sections and installed them in the frame………..Great Storage for total cost of $125.00

Initially I hesiated to buy this because of bad reviews, but I had no problem what so ever in installing it. BTW, I do not have too much experience in this kind of work. I bought one 8×4 plywood with 3/4″ thick and cut it in in the exact middle with a hand saw. They exactly fit in two 4×4 haning shelves.

The price point is great but in my case cost close to $300 to complete due to poor construction and not any support beams where I wanted to hang it but otherwise it is a quality product and how its described.

I’m not mechanically inclined BUT I was able to put this up by myself except for sliding the wood flooring into place. I think I used 5/8″ wood instead of the recommended 3/8″ for the flooring. Mounting location does require some thought before putting the whole thing up. Test hang the vertical brackets to make sure ALL of them clear the garage door, when it’s open. Try to hang all vertical brackets in the center of the horizontal ones mounted to the ceiling. Wifey says I need to order a second one! It should go up easier and quicker with my key learnings from the first one!
